What do you think? Becker folding knife?

Been looking at K bar folders, trying to decide on one but wish I could look at Beckers instead.

I would love to have one in my pocket all the time.


Or a multi tool? An Allen wrench on it that fits the bolts on the big knives handles would be a great idea.
 
Make it in the good old USA or Japan and I will buy it! But if it isn't..........count me out. Kabar's over seas folders do very little for me now. The Thorn and d2 Hunter were great.

I would be all over a US made Companion folder. CPM D2 would be nice. ;)
 
everyone wants a folder from becker... it's time has come i say :) however, wish fulfillment is a funny thing. you might not like what you get :) so, no whinging down that long, lonely, dark road of what is dark and such like.

not made in ameerka? thus far, all Beckers are made in ameerkatia i mean usa... Ethan insists :) since it's generally been the case (barring protos or tests), i wonder about the doubt...
 
I would love a BK2 folder!!! I wish I had a CNC Machine and I was smart enough to run it...

Folder? Not gonna happen. At least for a LONG time. The idea has been kicked around, but so far, nothing has settled. Keep on wishin', though.

The concept is sound, but practical application is the problem. Tooling up for a folder is big, expensive work. Not an easy undertaking. Plus, American made folders are hard to come by, I can count 4 makers that are currently making folders here in the US. Price check on aisle OMG!!!!. :D

Everyone's busy making their own stuff, and aren't going to drop anything in their line, to build up a BKT folder.

How much would you pay? $200? $300 for a BKT folder? US made folders are expensive. Kershaw has some budget folders, but I wanna see a folding knife worthy of the BKT/Kabar Logo. Moooooooooooola, my darlin's.

Is it time for the monthly "we want a folder" thread? You guys really need to work up a schedule for this stuff.

D-Bob made some awesome designs, but I mean heck, how could they even think about doing a folder right now when the tweeners and stuff are right around the corner? They gotta churn out those tweeners before they can even think about making anything else, and after having held them, they are going to be busy as heck just trying to keep up with the demand on those. Super busy.

But yeah, folder would be bad@$$ and anything even close to the designs D-Bob put out there would be the bees knees. I hope Ethan has some ideas once Shot show is done, cause I would love to see something of a folding nature outta BK&T.

I have been here a few months and have never seen it discussed. I apologize for wasting your time.
 
Maybe Ka-Bar could do a sprint run of folding BK-9's sort of like my folding Battle Mistress.
The bungee cord on the other side makes it an auto though, so no sales to California. :(

I would LOVE to see a folder and/or multi tool!!!

Allen Wrench that fits other beckers, screw driver Phillips and Flat, 60-75 mm blade, can opener, wood saw, file, sissors, bottle opener, and wine opener!

It's all good bud. We all wish for many of the same things. ;):thumbup: There is major goodness around the corner with the Tweeners.
 
perhaps cold steel might OEM some stuff from time to time :)
