It cracked me up when I first saw it since it definitely has that look. Goes well with the others.

got these set up how i want i believe.

I had a custom kydex sheath (thanks again marion!) that i won in a contest, but with the new scales didn't fit so had to modd it a little. Still good retention, so i think it will be fine. I also just got a custom kydex sheath for my midtech recluse from our own BF marion poff with a firesteel lopp. Glad i got the loop, I had a loop with the same hole size and hardware spacing but the one i received from marion is ten times the loop of that one, so on the necker sheath it went. I like merc harness style carry for the reason that i carry a moutainsmith lumbar pack in the woods and between the the straps and the hipbelt i find it most comfortable. But i put some snap clips and a teclok on as well so i can take it off and belt carry if a need.

with just trying it on i didn't find that bighonking firesteel to awkward, but we will see in time if i need to change it around at all. Either way it is a Beast!
Also couldn't let the remora fill lonely. so i gave it a little wrap.

But my girlfriend so me wrapping that "cute little knife" and now she wants one, but she wants scales on it, so i guess i got one of my next projects lined up.
thanks again for all the great comments folks, i'm really pleased with how these came out.

Again, fantastic work. I really like that blue btw. The project for the gf is great. You get to mess around with knives and she can't complain since it'll be for her!

They are very excellent, the scales remind me of old butcher knives I used to use.....

Maybe next year.

ETA check post 37 and 44. there are pictures if the finished handles
