Becker Rumors...?

Ok so I've been reading some rumors about various Beckers getting discontinued and others getting brought back into production (brute was the most recent one). Has anyone heard about these with any validity to them?
 
BK5, BK15, and BK4 getting cut from production. BK1 will never be brought back, according to Ethan.

The 4, 5, and 15 will be out of production. I still can't believe the Machax and Magnum Camp are leaving us...

And while I would never speak on behalf of Ethan or KA-BAR, I can say that we will very, very likely never see another production Brute.

But hey!! The RBK should be showing up soon! Ahhh Yeahhhh...
 
sadly thats what i thought was the case - thanks guys looks like I'm about to buy a couple more beckers at least haha
 
Regarding the deletion of some of the smaller blades (small compared to the RBK) is there any speculation as to whether there may be any additions to the line up to replace them (other than the RBK of course) or has the design spectrum pretty much been exhausted?
 
Well that was a quick $168 haha just bought one of each since my last post about 3 minutes ago lol this is an expensive obsession

Well, I guess now we all have an excuse to buy one of each, or buy a 2nd or 3rd if youve already got one.

A sad day indeed when any member of the Becker line up is discontinued. It's like killing a unicorn, with like a bomb.

In a couple years these will be on auction sites for 5x their retail price.

Any rumors about new designs besides the aforementioned??? The suspense is making my hair fall out.

It's an investment too tho if you're ever in a pinch for $$$$.

I've seen brutes go for 400$ on egay.
 
Always wanted to strip a 5 and put a double edge on it.
Going to have to ask for a early Christmas present.

Although, perhaps this would be a good investment to flip next summer also... perhaps 2 then?

Thanks for the heads up, thats unfortunate about the BK1, any idea why that is the case? I've heard it was unlikely since the BK9 is a better chopper but I wasn't sure if there were additional details there

I freakin love that Bowie looking brute that the warrior drew up, that's like literally the blade of my dreams. I even saved the pic in case I can afford a custom build someday.

You might have to wait longer than that for a good return. There seems to be a lot of old stock around. My BK5 purchases were just a few months ago, and they were both old style, stamped logos (vs the current laser etched logos that replaced them at least a few years ago).

A Becker folder would be nice, but would 'permission' need to be sought from Cold Steel? Else they might have their army of Shopping Mall Ninjas out to get BK&T too!! 😝
 
Cold steel is suing CRKT.

They are all mad about crkts claims about their locks (yeah cuz they never brag about their own stuff). "Worlds strongest sharpest knives" Becker should sue hahahaha. Im just going to sue everybody that advertises any claim. Budweiser, where the hell do you get off "king of beers" my ass.
