I did it at .25" thickness, and out of A2 steel (closest I could find to an actual blade steel on my program) the weight is around 1.63lbs, with the balance point being shown by the red dot.

I'm curious why spears are being neglected. I haven't seen a single drawing of a proper lance or pike.
I think the Kopis is generally shorter, more similar to a gladius in length (could be wrong here but I'm just going by the looks of it) and more of a drastic downsweep after the recurve.You've said this a few times now, so maybe since we are sketching up all kinds of stuff we can come up with something. What kind of specs would you like to see? I personally love the shape of the falcata but am less familiar with the kopis. Do you have any pics you can post that clearly illustrate what the difference is between the two and what would make for a fairly accurate representation of the different blade types? I can draw up pretty much anything, and would really be interested in seeing what something might look like of a falcata-esque nature a la Becker.
