Stock engine...

I recently rebuilt the engine. It was originally a 351 Modified and I converted the block to a 400. Literally the only difference is the crankshaft and pistons. The block is the same and shares nearly all the same parts as a 351 Cleveland.

If someone buys me a real truck (Chevy/GMC) I swear onna Bible I will chop this one up with my Becker!

That looks like a good truck.

it's decent, but its only got 160,000 on it and has a new motor and tranny already. It being a dodge auto, I figger the tranny I put in might last 10,000 miles if I'm lucky...Dodge really dropped the ball on their auto transmissions! I should have converted this one to a manual while I was rebuilding it, but I aint puttin any extra effort into a 2x4 LOL

by comparision my last GMC had 265,000 on it (HARD working, hotrodding, lots of offroad/gravel miles) when I sold it 21/2 years ago and it's still runnin strong...original motor/tranny. My last Chevy had a lil over 200,000 on it (same conditions) and is also still going.

oh well, the dodge runs for now and gets me and my Beckers from point A to point B so I can't complain too much, better then walking!
