You and me both. We had a few of them on base at Kadena in the late 80's/early 90's and damned near every man in the squadron tried to find a way to get one home. My crew chief even thought about just buying a used one in Japan and shipping the drivetrain back home to install in his Tacoma. The local dealership on the island said it would be a pretty straightforward swap, but getting parts in the States would be problematic (and expensive) since US dealers were prohibited from ordering them and foreign dealers weren't supposed to ship parts to North America.i just want a toyota hilux in diesel
