I looked at it (not touching it mind you) from across the room, and I am pretty sure it is what I have been wanting for the last year or so. A Maxped Monsoon gearslinger. Not Becker stuff, but something that will no doubt be accompanying me when the Becker does.

So that said, I changed the title. Boosh.

Did you get a chance to try out your pack or do you have to wait until christmas?

The monsoon is a sweet pack, I got a Maxpedition fatboy and Falcon II that I love to death.

Unfortunately no, I don't get it until we open all the gifts. Patience is not one of my many virtues. But I figure I have been waiting for well over a year now, so another week *probably* won't kill me. Probably. She might though. She's feisty, and if she thinks I have been shakin boxes she just might take that sweet BK2 she bought me and run me through with it. She's a tad violent at times. And I love it. ;)
 
Awesome pack Flex, and the bk7 fits right in. I'm going to think about getting one of those. I have a "Bail out bag" from County Comm which is pretty cool. But I need something larger like what you have there.

(nice patches btw "hey f*** face" lol!)
 
for those that don't surf the esee forum someone posted this tin so i picked up a few myself to play with. it's a whole lot bigger than an altoids tin though so not sure what i'll use it for.

On average, I get between 4-5hrs of sleep a night, no big, I'm used to it. I went to sleep last night and slept 17hrs. Midnight to 5pm. I only got up then, because my wife was going to work and I have to take care of my kids.

I hate being sick, and I hope that spankin' this bad boy with 17hrs of ZzZz will be enough. I'm sure if I go to the doc, he's just going to hit it with some antibiotics, like always. I gotta good doc, but anymore, no matter what you go in for, they throw antibiotics around like the crap was PEZ. I like letting my bodies immune system kick ass and take names, probably why I only get sick once a year, if that.

Its been two years since I got my ass kicked like this, so, I'll take it a little longer and see what happens.

Knives? I thought this was WEBMD. My bad.

Just got a Exotac Nanostriker, so far its pretty cool
One of the smallest and aggresive designs I have seen, it also works great..

Becker related chat: If I have to be with my in-laws (specifically my witch of a sister-in-law) for one more day, I'm going to chop my own head off with my BK9.

I thought that I was the only one around who did the same thing. Happens year after year. It's an odd thing to do. Mental pictures appear. I am usually right. I can't touch anything either. Merry Christmas.

Colt 1911 Series 70 Nickel Plated. I likes me some 230gr Speer EFMJ for the projectiles. I clocked it 857fps and since I accurized this pistol from the 1970's, they go where I want them too. I carry 2 back up mags, 1 with 230gr FMJ, and 1 with 230gr Speer GDHP. When I'm in town, I change to the GDHPs. Either way, I stick to 230gr, so POA and POI are the same. McCormick Power mags feeds the pipe, grip tape on the front strap, and Hogue Rubber panels for added grip. Custom fit Brownells barrel bushing and low pro combat sights. All toted in either a Galco NSAII for urban, or High Ride Concealble in the woods.

Usually just a Kel-Tec P3AT in my right front pocket.
Sometimes a Bulgarian Makarov 9x18 on my hip.
If it's black bear country, I have Counter Assault spray and a S&W 686 with Buffalo Bore 180 gr. loads.
If it were grizzly country (never hiked in brown bear territory), I would just curl into a fetal ball and start making right with Jesus. :D
 
Regarding packs...

I do still like the Maxpedition Falcon II, and I'm thinking that's the route I'm going for my next pack. However, I ran across this one today, and it has given me some serious pause. What do you guys think? It's the "Picnic at Ascot Backpack For Two" and is made of "Cotton Tweed and Simulated Pink Suede."

I know... geargasm! I'd better act fast before you flunkers buy these all up. :D
