Bump

is this something that will be ready by Summer?

I know I keep bumping the firesteel and patch threads, but I am very interested in owning these items
 
haha. while waiting, you can work on getting your rat pack #. i'll throw this in here...maybe it'll get the forum rivalry juices flowing again and speed up the beckerhead patch dealio :D

there's a couple of guys here that attended the course based on the passing comments i've read here and there. reuben, aka bearthedog, is probably the most well known since he posts a lot of his hiking pics here.

i'd like to attend someday. moose is co-instructing this summer i think.
 
The patch ideas sound good. There is plenty of brain trust to get this all figured out just tell me where to order and send money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

I'm on top of it, but you see, I can pressure Ethan some, but Susan is not to be pressured or rushed. I assure you.

Its in the works, and it will be awesome. And it should be here before Blade, we wanna give out some of the non numbered ones at Blade for show and tell.

didn't you get the memo? the more patches you have on your pack the less likely you'll need the basic skills and common sense to survive out there?

p.s. before i get the rep for it (you know how the interwebz work), riz_aaroni and other guys on this forum can vouch i don't actually hike with any patches on my pack! i'm not "that guy" haha...my pack is all-black, in keeping with my high-speed, low-drag operator internet commando image :p

Back on topic; are we going to have to pre-order our patches?
 
I like the original one with a thicker black border.

It would look good on black, OD or multicam patches and is simple enough to keep costs down.
 
I would like it better if all that is black on this proto was white, and the rest was black except the Beckerhead #, which I would like to be blood red with a white line outlining the square (Border). I know you said that was the set color scheme, I just felt like voicing my oppinion.

Maybe we just keep it simple? How about the image in Sig below? Low key, simple, something that people will see and know what it means...etc.

Colors, anything dark.
 
As I don't have a number YET... I don't feel I have much say. I'm going to have my say anyway,

Looks great the way it is, I like the black border as well, but the important part is the knife and the number. Good work!

Although I'm not much into patches, these will be a must have for me.
