Beckerhead patches

Would any of you guys be interested in beckerhead patches?

I wouldn't mind running the group buy.

The more important question is are we allowed to make beckerhead patches? Does this violate a copyright or trademark?

Here are some simple mock-ups I did in three colors. (Thanks to warrior for the silhouettes) If this is possible I would like to keep it as simple as possible. We would probably have to vote on and pick one color. Would also probably have hook side velcro on the back. Would like to keep the cost to $5 or below per patch including shipping from me to you.

They seem a little....busy. All the knife silhouettes result in smaller print. I'd probably be more interested in having Beckerhead be the focus of the patch, with a single silhouette if space allows.
 
I agree with HH, too much going on there. Simpler is usually better. The old one looked like this. Not my photo:

Personally, I think Beckerhead sounds better than Beckerheads. I'm an OD freak too, as opposed to the coyote/khaki color. A few color choices would be nice. That said, I love the idea of getting some new patches in.
 
I agree the simple old one works. not that a new patch is a bad idea. a rectangular simple hook and loop with say a bk9 could be cool.

haha looks like warrior should be the official patch designer. I agree my mock-ups are too complex for a patch. Im all for another one but I don't want it to be basically the same as the old one with a different background color. I'm a little biased so I would love a bk4 on it, but honestly it should probably be a bk9 (you can't not have a 9!). Maybe a bk20? With color I would prefer an OD green, but we can always vote. It would probably need to be a run in one color to save cost.

I thought about doing a different blade, but the reason I chose the 2, is because it's shorter, and taller than the other blades. If I used a BK9, and shortened it to patch size, "Beckerhead" probably wouldn't show up too well. A BK10 would work as well as a BK2.

The BK&T patches we have are about 1 1/2" x 4".
