They're family! Animals are better than most people. That's why it hurts when they're gone.

Sorry for your loss.

I am not a Beckerhead yet, but here are my boys Ninja(black cat) and Neko. This is after a recent Halloween party:

This is a shot of Dixie, the intrepid one hunting copperheads at Little Bear springs just down the hill from Beckerhead Camp
She has found two of them and lost the encounters both times.......

Hey Vince.....

I have owned beagles and mixed breeds large and small, shephards, aussie cattle dogs, and the birdiest German short hair in the known universe and I love and loved them all but, the two Bostons, Spanky now deceased, our deaf pup, and Dixie who we inherited from my wonderful mother in law, are probably the stand outs....A very special breed......

Indeed a man after my own heart. I have also owned many dogs (and a hairless cat named "booga") and have trained them for work/chores or hunting pigs before it was big problem. This Boston Terrier of mine has given me the most trouble of them all. He's stubborn, pigheaded, too smart for his own good and likes raw onions. But he always knows how to make me smile after a hard day..and besides that..he's BK11 tough!

Vince......

Our Dixie is almost twelve and has an energy level wich is amazing.......She charges our mountains like they are molehills...She also has a tust level for her humans which I have never sseen before in any dog......And, yes she is as stubborn as a recalcitrant mule, and way too smart......And way too intuitive .....She tracks her humans and knows what we are gonna do before we do.........Brings smiles everyday.......

my old black lab "Spot" will be 13 this may, has not carried his pack for a couple yrs now. Black is a relative term with all the grey on him now!
A 22lb fat tabby named "Zorro"
A crazed hyper manx/oriental short hair called "Vader"
And a manx named "Bob"
Unnamed school of Endlers Livebearer's are the cats living TV

The last dog I had got into the habit of sucking on treated fence posts and I had to shoot him. I can't abide a post sucking animal.

Well, we are not official Beckerheads yet, but my wife and I love dogs.

Here are some pics of our older boy Oz.

And here he is from the side.

A couple of his winning pics in the US. He's an AKC Champion. Yes, we are proud.

Some pics of us in the winter checking out a new climbing area.
Yes, he carries his own pack!

And he loves the cold temps.

But most of all he loves hanging out with us.

Did I mention how versatile this breed is? Here he is at six months demonstrating excellent herding form.

He learned to love at young age but never figured out that some cats don't love him.:D

And now, for anyone that is not completely bored, here are some pics of our younger dog (and Oz's son), Zack.

Here he is at just under 20 months.

This guys has focus!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Here is a family shot when he was much younger.

And like his dad, this guy is a herding machine. The judge called off the trial early saying there was nothing more she could expect from a dog at this age. Yes, we were proud. (crazy dog people)

There you go, that's our family. Man, we love dogs.

Thank you sir.

We truly love these dogs. And all dogs. I grew up with a Rott and a Beagle while my wife grew up with Corgi. She was initially a bit unsure about getting a Rottie but after meeting our family Rott, she began to appreciate the breed. That's how we ended up with two!:D

Oh, and we think Bostons are one amazing breed. My wife calls them Boston Terrors!:D
