Beckerhead, please sell me your reserved BK10

Ok guys, I'm REALLY wanting a BK10. I just haven't had the time to meet the "Beckerhead" requirements. If anyone would get me one with their Beckerhead status I will gladly send ya the money thru paypal. I'm a police officer and really want one as "10" was my badge number for years. I will also be on vacation when the public sale starts so not sure if I could get a call in fr that. Anyway, if anyone would be willing to help me out I would appreciate it. Might be a good idea to message Moose and see if he can set anything up for ya. Either that or paypal someone the cash that is going to be ordering Monday morning bright and early anyways.
 
Tried that and the response wasn't favorable. I'm just on the road a lot. I'm actually driving nearly 300 miles today just to jail a few. Typing this on my blackberry now.

You can call KA-BAR Monday morning, the 1st, and get a chance at one of the remaining ones. Need to be fast, as they are literally going to fly off the shelf. It's open to the general public then. The price does go up to $150, but at least there's a chance.

Planning on trying that if need be but I'm being told not to expect much. A dealer is expected to buy them all.
 
Has anyone ever really confirmed a dealer was going to buy the rest, or just an assumption?
 
I think that Ark and Fal'er got together and they are buying the rest ;)lol
 
Looks like I'll be trying my luck on monday. Suuure wish a current beckerhead who isn't buyn one would hook me up today.
 
Too bad I don't get the LE hookup on knives like I do on firearms.

Anyone else can do what they want if they're so inclined, but I find the request being made here to be highly offensive. This buy for Beckerheads has been in the works for literally months, maybe even a year or more. Before they went on sale for BHs, the rules were laid out for all to see, and for all to act on if need be. It was something that the mods, Ka-Bar and Ethan collectively put together as a way to say "thank you" to those of us who are committed and public fans of their products, and who followed the rules as originally stated and/or subsequently amended to qualify for the buy.

The request being made here is nothing short of asking a current Beckerhead who either can't afford to buy a BH BK10 or has no interest in it, to say to the mods, Ka-Bar and Ethan, "Screw your rules, I'm gonna make a buck or two off my BH status for a 'finder's fee!'"

If I hadn't already proudly bought one, I'd say to the requester that I hope they aren't busy bribing people to look the other way concerning laws as he is here concerning the buy rules, before i told him not only no, but Hell no, follow the rules pal. And I'd say that as a proud Vietnam vet who would never consider asking for, or even consider accepting, any special treatment just because I did my duty and served honorably.

Flame away if you're so inclined. I can take it better than a cop in Oklahoma can take having to follow rules apparently.

I truly don't get what rules he's breaking or why this request should be offensive.

Maybe I didn't read closely enough but I didn't think there were any rules prohibiting Beckerheads from flipping their BK10, know this SE BK10 is NOT only for Beckerheads (we were just given first crack), don't see him asking for the BH pricing, and considering that he heard from someone he considers reliable that a dealer will grab all the BK10s being offered to the general public to be quite likely true.

There have been Beckerheads that have been clear they won't be getting a BK10 because they don't have the money or don't have the inclination, and there have been Beckerheads that have said they will consider flipping their BK10.

I'd say that intimating that this LEO takes bribes is a thousand times more offensive.

Does the rules state, that you are not allowed to sell your BK10 ever? Do the rules state a fixed price, that youre allowed to sell your BK10 for, should you not want it anymore?

And implying that the OP is corrupt, because he wants a BH BK10 is out of line. The personal attack was not warranted.
