Beckerhead, please sell me your reserved BK10

I agree 100% Blues, and to wave the LEO card around is not only ridiculous it's also offensive and totally out of line, I'm sorry you didn't qualify for the deal. Too bad. It's been in the works for more than enough time that you could have easily met the requirments for your BH# and got the Beckerhead price, but the bottom line is that you didn't. So you should have to take a number like everyone else, anything short of that is unfair for EVERYBODY. Especially those of us that earned our numbers.
 
I'm with blues on this one too. Saying he is corrupt was pretty low, but I could see how offended you were. Although I will say it's hard. These last few weeks have been the least I have posted. It's like every other thread is about the BK10. I feel very outside looking in. It was okay with reading about the Becker knives, because if I got psyched for a model I'd be able to get it. Where as this one I could me waiting as long as 5 years. On the other hand you guys should be able to be excited for your new knives, and this is the perfect outlet for it.
I just think it should be everyone or no one. These beckerheads who have slipped through the cracks after the release of LE BK10, and threads like this have dulled what was once a great place to hang out. Even I read the threads and hinting nudges of the mods before this came out.
Don't know where I was going with this. Just some things I've been feeling.
I will leave it at a final thank you to the mods, Ethan Becker, and Tooj and everyone else I may have forgotten for such an opportunity.

I do have a question for you, if you are so into beckers that you are willing to beg then maybe he should have posted more then 15 times on the becker forum in the 7 months you have been on Bladeforum. You have no threads started here on this subforum except for this one, and almost the majority of your posts have been in the Exchange.

So I am wondering if you are just looking for a good deal on a special knife that you will flip and then you will be gone from the Becker forum?

Wow. Holy sh-t. Didnt realize me asking if someone wanted to sell there BK10 would be so offensive and corrupt. Pretty sure this is NOT a club I want to be a part of now. I just dig the knife and wanted to see if someone would help me out. Didnt mean to offend anyone. I wasnt throwing LE around other then offering me LE price on Benchmades. And just because I dont post in the forums all of the time does make me any less of a Becker fan. I havent been on this forum long and usually read and keep my mouth shut. Forget my request. This thread should just be deleted, with it being so offensive and all. And I'll go back to keep my mouth shut in the Becker thread. Good day.

And I'd say that as a proud Vietnam vet who would never consider asking for, or even consider accepting, any special treatment just because I did my duty and served honorably.

Flame away if you're so inclined. I can take it better than a cop in Oklahoma can take having to follow rules apparently.

This may be one of the dumbest things ive read to date on here. It really doesnt warrant a response. Calling me corrupt for looking for a knife is funny. However, I would like to say thank you for your service sir in Vietnam and protecting out countries freedoms while risking your life. For that I am in debt to you.

Wow, I feel like I should ask for a lawyer or something in here.

Yes, I've had a BK7 for years now. Its served me well. Had a BK9 a few years back but I gave it to a buddy going to Iraq. Everyone please disregard my request for help getting a BK10.
 
i'm sure a lot of people are going to flip their knives later, esp the $150 crowd.

i would expect anyone with the $$$ to buy as many as they can, and go "hog wild" and bump the price up $50-75 in the following weeks. they'll sell. that's pretty likely.

getting someone to buy you $100 knife, plus shipping/insurance and re-shipping and incentives is still going to come close to $150 anyway. might as well just get up early and pummel KaBar's phone line on Monday.

i can easily someone with $1500 to drop buying 10 and hanging on to them. or buying 20 or 30. there's a few left.

lessee, if you buy say 15-20 of them, bump up the price even $10-20, you've got yourself a free BK10 after they all sell :) hah.

course as well guys, he is gold, and there's nothing stopping him from putting out requests in the wanted forums asking the exact same question. i don't see a lot of value in saving $15-25 in re-re-shipping a knife though, so it's probably not worth much to a BH for the trouble. in week, these things will be $175-200. profit! the american and becker way.

hell-o! i expect someone is going to go all Brute on this deal (even at $150) and expect to see these on ePray for $500 :) they might not sell, but you can't blame a guy for trying ;)

I didnt realize I'd stir up such a sh-tstorm just trying to buy a knife. I called Ka-bar the other day about buying one and was advised to call back monday morning. I was told not to count on getting one because they were limited and dealers were expected to snatch them all up quick. Thats the only reason I posted on here. Didnt think it would offend anyone. I honestly didnt know this was something being planned for years now. Like I said early, Im not really a 'forum guy' and I see why now.
 
I say you wait until monday, I'm also sure Kabar will give you info to what retailers will carry the BK10, order the BK10 and post pics on this thread when it arrives. Then say (see assholes I just wanted one because this blade is excellent and the design is awesome, not to resale it)......:D
 
Don't take offense OP. Its a perk of putting the time in. Everyone of us has bought tons of Becker/Kabar products and promote the brand everytime we get (look through so "what should I buy" threads you'll see) im a noob in this group but trust me its worth it. I understand that other guys, including myself, would not pimp out my number for someone who does not add to the group/brand as a whole. These guys would look at it differently if you participate, grow the Becker brand, and just fell short of your #. My advice is to get one Monday, use it, mod it, whatever, but stick around learn, offer advice, and become one and I promise you will be glad you did
 
Tell ya what, paypal me that 150 +20 shipping (shipping from Kabar to me, and me to you) and ill call for you Monday if you can't do it. If I don't get you one ill refund your cash. We want new beckerheads and don't want to make people sour on us or Becker. Pm me if ya want, or don't, whatever you want.
