Post up your progress for MYB and BSP. GET FIT!

Scoring:

The idea is simple. Move your body. Get fitter.

Between the dates of (insert current month) 1 and (insert current month) 31, the challenge is to earn 50 Becker Points. Points can be earned in the following fashion:


1 mile (1.6 km) on foot = 1 Becker Point
3 miles (4.8 km) road cycling = 1 Becker Point
2 miles (3.2 km) mountain biking & inline skating = 1 Becker Point
1 mile (1.6 km) swimming = 4 Becker Points

Yoga - 12 min = 1 Becker Point



If you just do one thing, you'll need to hoof it 50 miles, or road bike 150 , or mountain bike 100 miles, or swim 12.50 miles. You may combine items to build toward 50 Becker Points in any fashion you choose. Honor system in play.
This thread will be the place where people report in on their progress.

BSP:

200 light reps = 1 BSP
100 medium reps = 1 BSP
50 heavy reps = 1 BSP
30 very heavy reps = 1 BSP
300 heavy punching bag combos = 1BSP

Definitions:

Light rep: a rep that can be done 15+ times without resting. Most body weight exercises will fall into this category.
Medium rep: a rep that can be done up to 14 times, with reps 12-14 being challenging, and 15 near impossible without assistance.
Heavy rep: a rep that can be done 6 times, with reps 4-6 being very challenging, and 7 near impossible without assistance.
Very heavy: a rep that can be done twice, rep 3 impossible without assistance.
Heavy punching bag combos: a set of at least 2 moves (ex jab and straight, jab roundhouse kick, etc) done sequentially.

Light - 15+ reps
Medium - 7-14 reps
Heavy - 3-6 reps
Very Heavy - 1-2 reps

Starting this month off...

myb: +2.5
bsp: +3 - pull ups, back extensions, aireals.
 
myb: +3.5 = 13.5
bsp: 8

myb: +3.5 = 17
bsp: +2 = pushup day - was tired this morning and not feeling the eneregy. Didn't get as much done as I wanted to.

Where are all you slackers ;) there are butts to move!
 
I've done a lot of activity but none of it technically counts for MYB. Put up a retaining wall on Saturday and demo'd some concrete paths, been helping folks move furniture and other things out of the house for their impending remodel/move for the last couple weeks, but no purposeful workouts.

Stop making us look bad :p
 
He's not malking me look bad.....I can do that myself.
Tho, I've not given up hope - yet.
Mowed the lawn Friday. Strapped on my neused Suunto (from that damn Exchange!) and the HR strap and had at it. My side yards are 20-30% grade, so it's always a workout. I didn't have the GPS interval set right - I was out for an hour and I lknow I walked a mile (HR averaged ~140)....but it said .63 or some such. Still, thought you (two ;)) would get a kick out of this:

Sunday 36 mile road ride. I'm sore....but that's a good thing.

MYB:12+2.2+1=15.2
 
myb: +3.5 = 17
bsp: +2 = pushup day

myb: +3 = 20 - I've added inline skating as the same as mountain biking. I think its fair, please let me know what you guys think. Between last night and this morning I've done about 11k with the dog. She seems to like the pace for the first little while then gets lazy and its me dragging her instead of the other way around when I jog :D
bsp: +2 = 12 pullups and extensions. No time to play today have to get ready for work.

:D sorry KingMC. I was feeling lonely.

Mike that tracker is hilarious! Something you would expect for doing yard work lol. All the zig zagging back and forth... mowing? lol

I thought I already got this up here...perhaps I didn't hit the "post" button. I finally got the Suunto figured out (not that hard, even for the likes of me), went for a long walk to pick up Chinese takeout; 2.2 miles (Thurs.) because I was not up for a run after Odin's Day's 1.85 mile jog. Rode 28 tired miles on my bike yesterday. Cooler than it's been in days, but just couldn't muster much oomph. Still, I think that and cutting out a LOT of beer drinking is making my scale grunt a teensy bit less when I step onto it.

MYB: 2.2+1.85+9.33+15.2=(too many decimals, I need the calculator....)...28.58 BP.
 
I managed 2 miles of walking on Saturday and a morning workout as well, for once.

MYB = 2
BSP = 1

0.75 miles pushing the mower up and down the hill yesterday. whoop-de-do.
