While I did actually use the corkscrew once to open a bottle of wine, I find it's actually more useful for other things.

My #1 use by far? It's a champ at untying knots.

Just use the tip to get in between the strands of the knot and pull out a loop.
 
That was good advice on the wine opener from both of yall. Never even crossed my mind. Thanks for the pointers.
 
I have a Wenger Evo 14.

My all time favorite is the classic, but sometimes you want something larger. I am drawn to the Farmer, but won't give up the scissors. The Evo 14 has everything I need, but for some reason doesn't seem as "solid" as the Vic's have had in the past.

If I coud get a Farmer with a locking blade and scissors, I wouuld stop buying knives.

For a whole week.
