Beckerheads, let's roll (Beckerhead Member List SIGNUP THREAD)

Okay -- says 5 Threads of value. who decides if they are of value -- as I might think they are but maybe you all won't.! Just like these questions I am asking -- as I am new to this but I own 5 KB/Beck Knives and that does not matter as me liking Becker and using them and collecting them.
This is going to be a mess.!!

Go out and use your Becker in the woods, Take pics of the adventure and start a thread about what you did.

Want to do any modifications to the knifes you own? Need scales, stripping the knife, convexing, etc. take pics and start a thread about what you did, how you did and why you did it.

You will soon learn, BH like pics of their knives and others to share.

Knife Porn at its best....

I am new to this as for what does '25 Post of Value mean'.? Like a question about a certain knife or in that line of a post.??

"what is quality phaedrus?"

well, for instance, 4 posts in a row in the same thread aren't too valuable ;) 5 posts in 5 threads saying "alright!" aren't so great either. participate, don't just get a post count.

new threads: something more than a "me too" but less than the illiad? really it comes down to: if you create a new thread, and you have content, are telling us your adventure, showing off your used and abused Becker, or just generally asking thoughtful questions about design and use, or heck, even being off topic... you don't have to document chopping redwoods down :>

there are forums that will ban someone if they attempt to meet the requirements in too short a time (i think the record was something like under 10 minutes)... there's no rush. sit a spell, take your boots off, have a coffee :)

as for requests... the numbers will grow with membership. reasonable requests are reasonable. generally if you request a number too far forward, you may have to wait to get it until the membership body grows to that point.

less rambly:

- Posts of value are as follow:
No one word posts, no smilies only posts, and contribute to the conversation in the thread. These will be judged by the Moderators.
- You will need to REPLY TO THIS THREAD, and pending verification, your request for membership will be approved at a later time, not to exceed 14 days.
Include in your request the search parameters for your qualifying posts (75, 25, 5) as stated above
Reply to this thread only with your request, PLEASE do not PM or email the mods unless you have questions (Email option is better)
PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A NUMBER IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY YET

^^^^^ What Bladite said. Honestly, we want members, not just guys showing up to get a number to qualify for this or that, contest, giveaways, and such.

We want guys that are interested in the knives and are interested in being apart of the forum. We have some guys that have gotten their memberships and not been as active, but they still check in and make some good posts.

Thanks - as at least now I know I am lost.! Went camping last weekend because the weather was nice and I had a chance to use my Beck 3 a lot and yes I did take a picture or two but the I went CVS and gave them my Dig. Camera and told them to develop my pic's and I would be back Wed. to pick them up.! I know nothing about how to put them on here -- as I am new to this.
Think I will just enjoy my knives and enjoy bouncing around BF's and learning a thing or two in the process (as I have learned to Strop my knives and even made a few Strops and I am in the process of making a different handle for my BK 5 (slow process) ~~ and I really wanted to join but think I will just enjoy my blades and keeping up with what is going on here and the rest of the Forum.
Thanks. Jack

Dude, That's 3 different threads right there. Put up some pron (knife pics) and talk about your experience. We have things we can learn from you. None of us is as smart as all of us.
