Those fat pike are nice! Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
However, I have been catching big pike all my life. What really peeks my interest are the big pout. That has me a little green with envy. One of these days I will pull some of them through the ice. I have always wanted to. They are supposed to be tasty. Basically fresh water Cod.
What part of the country are you catching those?

Sorry BFK, missed this. Up in central Alberta. Honestly, we just c’n’r the burbot we catch. I know they’re supposed to be really tasty, but having to nail them to a board to skin them kinda puts me off. Plus, they’re slimy as snot:
