Beckers and Peppers

Ok, here is one minced Big Black Mamma (up to 1 million Scoville units in heat). Going into this evening's chili. We were planning on using two, but after sampling a tiny sliver, we changed our minds. This thing is FREAKIN' HOT! On the upside, it did have very interesting floral notes with hints of cherry in the background. Surprising, considering the heat.

I am curious if you get any hybrids due to cross pollination. I dont fully understand biology on chile's, so Im not even sure its a possibility...
Just looking at some of those peppers gives me a lil sweat on my brow.

It won't change the peppers in any noticeable way but it does affect the seeds.
Hybrids may occur in the next generation.
 
Are you consuming all these peppers in any form of sauce or food dish? Sure would like to see what goodness your making :D

Yeah, been using the milder ones in all sorts of Mexican dishes and have been playing with the more potent ones in some chilies! I'll get some pics next time!

A tiny sample can be very frightening for sure :eek: and thanks gmoneyluv for your generous offer :). I love Mexican Food and Chili but I learned a good lesson thinking I like Hot Peppers :D
