I really would enjoy this I think. My wife and kids idea of camping consist of a camper trailer in a state park. We used to rough it just about anywhere, and I loved it, but the family got soft on me while I was deployed to Astan. I tolerate the camper (its a stupidly insane pain in the ass) as much as my marriage will allow. But wish I could get back to sleeping on the ground under a poncho. I mean, really, whats up with bringing a house camping? I've never understood that. Anyway, April is "touchy" for me. The wife and the kids are in school so I could only be there for maybe 3 days (Fri, Sat, Sun) then and it would be tough but I'd really like to do this.

Would the family be able to attend? Or is this just for the guys? Would a camper trailer be allowed and not be an insult?

What would I need to bring or pay for?

Need some more intel please

It's only a 3 day event, most folks show up Noon ish friday till late into the evening friday and leave around noonish sunday, so really it's 2 full days. You can definitely bring the camper and the family, though the conversation can get a bit rough, especially in the evenings after strong drink. You'd only need to pay for things you want to eat or buy from some folks, Bill Seigle usually brings some of his steel along for purchase. We are talking about a few group meals and there will be cost involved, either monetarily or in actual food brought. We are still discussing the details of this though and I can't imagine it'd be more than $20.

I'm trackin'

I can plan for this as though its a regular family trip so that way I'm covered. I can also plan for the group meals and bring things for that purpose. The kids are immune to strong language and are used to loud mouths, they are tough skinned, trust me on this.

Of topic, I keep looking at that BK10 you have listed. Its a beaut, but out of my range...lol.
 
I'm going! I feel stupid for having missed the last one and I am not making that mistake again.

Also ill bring moonshine! I might also bring a knife and maybe a fart taco (code for hammock)!

I just took some time off from work today, so I'm good to go!
I'll bring some ice cold Rainier beer, some steaks, bacon, and whatever else 'FALER or Airyca need me to bring.

I'm gonna start recrafting the 1st post to make it a more official thread for this deal. I'll put up links to previous threads and get some directions to the site, you know the typical thing.
