I can't believe that no one took a pic of me using the BK5 in the chopping contest. I guess everyone was in shock to see that thing cut so damn well :D

( I could have won it but I wanted others to win the blades that didn't have any :D )

How bout some video!!

Of course!!

My favorite part is "F-it, I'm done"

Course I didn't even have the breath to say that after I was done chopping!!

I didn't even remember saying that, and I didn't watch it far enough to see that part :D but yeah it takes it out of ya. I think that's why the hawk throwing was so much fun; one isn't out of breath after throwing the hawk for a bit. :D

Too much fun for sure !!!!.....

ethan

Yes it was. :D

Next time maybe we should video record more of what we did.....just a thought.

Looks like a great time was had by all (apart from the dog problem). I hope to make it out to one, Springtime would be awesome... mushroom hunting contest would be fun...

As far as cats as trail mates goes... I used to have a long-haired tabby that would spend most of her time wondering the forest around our house, and accompany me on walks (at her own pace and distance ofcourse...). One night she hadn't come back inside, which wasn't entirely odd. When I wondered down the trail to look for her, I found her at the base of a tree, looking straight up and hissing. Pointed the flashlight up, and there was a scared, pissed off raccoon staring back at me. My cat, who usually got along great with the coons, had gotten territorial and treed one of em, and then decided to keep it up there by standing guard at the base of the tree. I swear this cat was the reincarnation of my chocolate lab/chesapeake, and was as comfortable and able in the woods as any dog I know...

Damn, wish I could have been there. Looks like it was full of good times. Next year for sure.
