BeckerWest Spring 2023 May 4-7

I forgot to follow up on the BB gun after last meet up!
Since I broke it, I would like to fix/remedy the situation.

Please let me know if it just needs the lever handle, or anything else, or just a whole new gun.
I did search around on eBay and see replacement levers, but am not sure of the model, exactly, as I assume that would be important.

And I could not remember who it belonged to so I could contact them directly.

No worries Brome! It was a cheap BB gun. I had another cheap BB gun at home and I already swapped the lever on it so ‘Ol Trusty Rusty is good to go!
 
We have been getting a bit more snow this year in the PNW than we have in a few years, so even though it is a few weeks off, I was curious how the Beckerwest camp was doing.
The weather has been giving us a bit of challenge to get our research done, but such is life when you work outside.

Getting in, there were patches of snow, and open road, no downed trees fully blocking access.
Only a few short stretches would be too deep for a low clearance vehicle right now.

The good news is we should be moving into steady warmer temps starting this weekend on the east side, so that should help open the roads up in time.

It was funny walking around there; looked like we just left yesterday...
 
As we get closer to event time, what all can I bring to contribute to group eating efforts? I’m no chef but I can buy the heck out of supplies 👍

How about eggs, potatoes, and tortillas?
Breakfast burritos are easy enough.
 
So Pease and NixKustomz won’t be able to make it do to extraordinary life events. It happens. We’ll miss you guys!
With that being said, I can take care of the burgers for the weekend. Padruig doing stew, me and Awesome-O with the rib roast, and I’ll do burgers one night.
Breakfasts should be taken care of so if everybody just wants to do their own lunches, we should be good!
If anyone doesn’t know what to bring, maybe just breakfast stuff, bread, chips, and snack stuff.
Oh! And S’mores!
 
Will there be any chainsaw? I can bring mine but it’s little and old

Can someone bring that plywood backdrop for the blade-throwing area from last meet up?
If not, I can bring an old OSB sheet from my place.
