Beefy folder help

I'm partial to Strider, but anything by Crusader Forge, especially The Metro is the beefiest I've come across. And it's a flipper!

for a value heavy duty folder i would recommend any of the cs voyagers/recon 1's and also the spyderco resilience is great choice

TOPS/BUCK CSAR-T folder. S M * W #3362 is the model i am thinking of. Made in America just in case your wondering.

I've got one I'm probably going to get rid of. It's actually TOO beefy for me. It's a Beretta Harsey linerlock folder. The thing is a moose. It has a 4.25" S30V blade with G10 scales and is 9.50" OAL with a weight of 6.5 ounces. I think it's out of production at this point.

Hey man its now my edc that has replaced my lionsteel sr-1 full bronzed ti, also a very "beefy" folder weighing in at 6.9oz, i would definitely recommend it dependant on your price range. The replacement i just picked up from the man himself is an Oregon made knife by Jim Allen called the BEAST. It is solid ti handles with a S35VN blade same stuff as Reeves folders, 3'' blade and the blade stock is thicker than any knife i own, and trust me i have lots. At $300 for a full custom I dont think you can go wrong. Go check out his website @ThreeSistersForge.com. Jim is a real stand-up guy that has some great products.

SMF. Particularly the aluminum iteration. Has a certain sculptural quality to it. You could roll it down a hill without any bits falling off. Feels like it belongs in an extraterrestrial toolbox.

I still haven't been able to find the exact strider I'm looking for, the white smf with tango blade, or there white alu smf

You didn't give a price point or what you think you might use it for - so here are some widely scattered suggestions.
Direware
Crusader Forge
Extrema Ratio
Strider
Pohl Force
ZT

If you are considering a SMF - you might also want to consider either a Strider AR / GB frame lock (same knife - AR is drop point blade, GB is tanto). The SMF lego is a really good knife.

i didn't give a price point because there really is none in particular. i have 300-500 to spend and i might get one or maybe 3, and if i want a xm-24 i will save up for another week or two to make the right buy.

Direware- i need to research this knife more i like the looks.

I have an EX-01 tanto black alum scales - really nice knife and well made with good fit/finish, but I would categorize it as midway between lightweight and heavy duty. My Striders instill much more confidence for things like prying and hard cutting than my EX-01 does.
i bought on just now after reading this comment lol, i still need my large sized folder that will make me feel satisfied ha

i own a ak-47 and i don't plan on any more cold steel purchases. good value but I'm not in love with the g-10 pocket shredding feature of their scales. even thought they are powerful lock backs and great edc's

whats your new edc i am confused

--thanks for all the help guys reallyy opening my eyes to some brands and models i have missed out on til now

The 0550 or 0560 or the Hogue. All three are a lot of knife for the money. I don't own a Hogue but have handled one at Cabela's. If money isn't a factor then go with something else.
If money wasn't a factor, I'd probably pick up a custom Hinderer.

The only other manufacturers of 'beefy blades' I can think of that haven't already been mentioned are Ontario (Utiliac series) and Grayman. Maybe Ka-Bar Mules as well.

EDIT:
The Grayman Satu is a big beefy folder.

Oops, already out there! :o

So many options. Im going to try edcing my SR-1 for a full year. I would say hinderer, lionsteel sr-1, grayman or any tri ad lock.

I plus one to Three Sisters Forge. Haven't had an opportunity to play with a beast, but I've messed around with a credit card tactical, and its solid. Incredibly solid for such a little knife, and Jim is an awesome guy

The Benchmade 275 Adamas is one tough sumbitch. I've been carrying mine for a couple weeks now. I love it.
So I recommend that one.

You might look at the 5.11 First Responder. I just got one in a trade, and I had no idea how heavy duty that model is. It's discontinued now, IIRC, but they're still available if you search for them online.

Liners thick enough to almost make it a frame lock, and a 4mm thick S30V blade.

You have to be careful, as they have several models that look very similar, but they're lighter duty.
