How was the mini-manix? They keep some steel towards the tip?

How was the mini-manix? They keep some steel towards the tip?

Instead of the Mini Manix (C101G) with a 3.25" long S30V blade that's 0.156" thick and weighing 5.5 ounces I got the Yojimbo2 (C85G2) with a 3.11" long S30V blade (more cutting edge as well) that's 0.156" thick and weighing in at just 4 ounces. Makes it lighter and legal for EDC in L.A.

The sturdiness of the Southard is another reason to like this extremely well made knife of excellent materials. Comparable to production knives that sell for more.

The three new ones arrived: Vallotton, Starmate and Yojimbo 2. Vallotton has a beautiful handle and it's one of those cases where the Spydie hole definitely interferes with smooth lines. Starmate is indeed very well-balanced and light on its feet. The prize in this lot for me goes to Yojimbo 2 with its L.A.-legal 3" blade and it's an absolute mini-beast.
