Good to see you back. I'm really thrilled about the contests starting again, and I believe we have all been missing your insightful and wise posts.

The BK-16 really is the best knife I've ever handled, I hope to thank you personally one day for coming up with it and having it made.

Second, sorry to hear of your personel sit. - I've been there, done that ... no fun.

My advice is to drink heavily, and start soon :D (kidding)

Sorry to hear about the breakup. Sounds like you have a positive outlook on it though.
 
i may have never met you, but a man who can make a great knife such as yourself has my respect and im sorry your going through all this and hope your doing well. this all sucks because every video i see you in i see that famous ethan becker smile when talking about one of his products.... therapy homework, go cut some stuff with a bk5 :)
 
Ethan, very sorry to hear about your situation. My fifteen year marriage just ended at the tail end of last year so I sympathize. All the best for your path forward.

I've only been on the forums for a short while so far, but all I've heard is what an all around great guy you are. By the looks of it, you've got just about the best support group here anyone could ask for. I may not be a Beckerhead, but im a huge fan anyway and I look forward to learning as much as I can.
 
Sorry to hear about the split Uncle E. I wish we could be there in Vegas to cheer you up but I guess we'll have to wait until the Spring Gathering.

I don't know the situation nor is it any of my business but let it be known that I/we wish nothing but the best for you and hope that its resolved as painlessly as possible.................and let us know how that bottle of grogg that K9 sent ya taste!

Aaaaaahh. There's plenty of fish in the sea. When you meet better you forget about the X. You still have your close friends to hold you up Ethan until you can stand on your own again. It's real, it's painful, but it will pass.
 
Good to see you around Ethan, I've been wondering if I was going to have to come up there and check on you. It's good to be introspective sometimes, never good to get stuck there. Looking forward to seeing you around more!
