I couldn't decide so I drank them all...Shiner.
Very much prefer anything from Westvleteren or even St Bernardus - have been to both, for sure worth the trip (St Bernardus has a bed and breakfast you can stay at), and Goose Island does not make a proper Trappist, given its a region in Belgium. And I'm not trying to be elitist, just a beer lover, lolFavorite Trappist beer..... Definitely better with age.
Have you had Matilda by Goose Is.?
That's a great fallback clone....and Way cheaper

It's quite tasty, likely needed to sit in the cellar a few more years as its still quite hot, but I feel like most beers at 19.2% are gonna feel a little hot. When first sipping it, you get a lot of macadamia and on the finish you get the coconut, which lingers for a while.I have gotta try that stuff, how is it?
Sounds delicious, and like that the coconut at the end is dessert. I'll put that on my short list. It's quite tasty, likely needed to sit in the cellar a few more years as its still quite hot, but I feel like most beers at 19.2% are gonna feel a little hot.
