To me, it has a faint sweetness. It is full of flavor and is just short of a porter.

That might be good to try, not a beer drinker really, but should be less stark or bitter than a porter I tried before. I tried Guinness stout, only to finish it off as my mother jn law needed some beer for a cake she was making that called for beer in the recipe.

I'm just now drinking another Walnut Brown Ale from Good Wood while watching some March Madness and I'm also tasting some coffee with a hint of vanila. Mmmmmm!
