Here is my gnew gnome. It is the olive wood version and the third one I've had. The first two arrived with broken/cracked scales. This arrived in great shape so I made a gnome bead in matching olive wood. The beer is my new favorite, Old Dominion Double D DIPA. 9% ABV. Very good beer and around $10 per/6.

Hey Officer, how's that beer? Dogfish head is one of my favorite brewers, but I have never seen this one. The description sounds really interesting. Lemme know if I should be on the hunt for the ever elusive new beer. Thanks!

edit: Realized I posted almost the exact thing as someone else, so I at least took the picture out :P Sorry!!! (too many beers?)

Awesome Willy! Love the work. I just got the Boker Vox. Nice.

Isn't Kinkland a generic/store brand? I didn't know that made beer. That is very interesting!

Yes it is, There are two breweries who supply Costco/Sam's Club; one for each coast. Mine are by Hopfen und Maltz, out of San Jose. Comes in a 24 variety pack; Amber, IPA, PA, "German Lager" some kind of bock.

Very good, just wish it weren't quite as pricey as it is.

I know the feeling, my friend and I dropped a good $60 on that and two Allagash beers. Great night but pricey as all hell.

To keep my post relevant, here is the last of the box with a nice burger the landlady made as payment for sharpening the kitchen cutlery.

Here's a couple o' Boker Beer Barrel folders (a Canoe and a Whittler) along with an awesome beer glass a good friend gave me (one of six from a set of Paulaner Europe '12 footie glasses.) The Bokers are interesting in that the covers are made from reclaimed wood originally used in ale barrels...

Arguably two of the best products on earth!

That's my #3 beer. #2 is Piraat, and #1 St. Benardus Abt. 12. Sometimes #1 and #2 are reversed, depending on the mood. I definitely drink a lot more Piraat because it's more an "every day" beer (although I certainly don't drink it every day). But The Abt 12 is something special. A small bottle a couple hours after a big homecooked meal of spaghetti and meatballs or a Chicago style deep dish is simply magical. The Rochefort 10 is a great substitute for the Abt 12 when I don't want something quite as sweet/fruity.
