Whoa herisson! Can you tell me about the meat you have there? Is it an air cured ham or something? I've never seen anything sold like that before.

Yes, air cured ham. It's boned and conveniently cut in approx. 1 pound pieces and wrapped airtight in clear plastic. You can choose drier or softer, with more or less fat. Convenient, because you don't have to buy a whole ham that might last a bit long when you're on your own ! However those chunks never taste like the real deal : a whole Serrano, Bayonne, or Aosta. Call in a lot of friends and slice it up ! It's tasty as heaven and a definite cutting test for a knife.
 
Am i allowed to use a bottle of whiskey? You know. If theres no beer handy. Or do i have to make a new thread?
