Yes, air cured ham. It's boned and conveniently cut in approx. 1 pound pieces and wrapped airtight in clear plastic. You can choose drier or softer, with more or less fat. Convenient, because you don't have to buy a whole ham that might last a bit long when you're on your own ! However those chunks never taste like the real deal : a whole Serrano, Bayonne, or Aosta. Call in a lot of friends and slice it up ! It's tasty as heaven and a definite cutting test for a knife.
 
Am i allowed to use a bottle of whiskey? You know. If theres no beer handy. Or do i have to make a new thread?
