Before the Friday sale...

Thank you Don... I'm surprised that preorder thread has not filled up quickly. Lots still staying on the sideline!

I guess many still prefer the adrenaline rush of Friday sale LOL. I locked myself in for one preorder so I can go catch some beauty sleep now :)

I remember being first in one of Nate's sales once, oh yes, the good old days!!! :D

Man what a ton of fun trying though. However, leisurely it was not!!

There will be ten of them, which should take a little longer to sell. And there is a pre-order list, which should take some of the pressure off. I foresee a more leisurely sale this time.

lol- Nate, this is reason #42 that I love you so much :)

I figured the pre order would fill up a lot quicker than it is , considering the rush for the Friday sales . Well I am happy I got in on the sale 8th not too bad . Just waiting on my PayPal request from Jo . 😀
Winning on the sale did save me some dollars I would signed up for a gold membership (to get on the pre order list ), but if I did that I would feel obligated to start selling some knives that I don't use to often ...

Yeah the selling thing gets addictive. You start selling, then you have a little money, so you start buying, then you get too many again, so you start selling.....

I found a fix for this problem, although it might not work for you. I just tell my wife how much I spent "the last time" I bought a knife. She has powers that trump addiction.

But from what I've seen, your wife likes knives too. So you're probably buggered. EMBRACE THE SUCK!!!!

When my light chopper came , I was at work still so I texted my daughter to look out for the package and hide it from mama , mission accomplished !!
Now I just have to get the bill before she sees it

Also did Jo send out PayPal invoices , have not got mine from today's sale yet ?!

I know that Justin received one as well as I and we have both paid the invoices. Jo was running a later than usual because of family commitments and I received my invoice around 4:30 PM Pacific time.

Just to be accurate, I didn't get an invoice, I got a PM with my total, and off the Paypal went.

Same kinda thing though!

My wife LOVES I love knives, so long as she never sees any money spent on them. So long as I sell to buy, all is well. Otherwise, she spends a bunch on clothes she doesn't wear, which is NOT the same as a knife I don't use to cut things, because it's a collectible!

Well thank goodness that you didn't PP me again in error ;)

I can't say it won't happen again. I can't organize my desk the way I want because anything within reach is a toddler toy. Next thing you know everything is messed up and I can't remember who what where when or why and woops!

Invoices seem safer!

Well you're in safe hands as long as I don't go senile all of a sudden. Otherwise, I issue refunds much faster than "some" ;)

Ok, people. I would like to get a general feel for something. Opinion time!

I was lucky enough to snag a Field Knife on Friday. I usually buy two knives but with the limited availability we've all been holding off on doing that. Now, there is a pre-order thread. I'd like to order a second but not if it is deemed uncool at this time. I wanted to wait a day or two to let others get in line. The pre-order thread is filling up WAY slower than I thought it was going to!

So what do you guys think? At what point should it be ok to satisfy my "two is one, one is none" policy? Be honest!
