I think the thread has been up for an ample amount of time. Definitely long enough that if someone wanted one they'd have been able to put their name up.

Especially if the knife is going to be put to use, which in your case I very little doubt about :p .

I am will you 100% on this and I would suggest that you go for it because otherwise you may have to go through the same competitive frenzy that has become norm with the Friday Sales! Plus, this may be the last preorder offering that you'd see from Nate/Jo. Last I looked there were about 30 or so preorders and about 3 from forum members who seemingly had not fully read all the terms laid out by Nate! Bear in mind that you will be in the back of the line and may have to wait quite a while (for CPK's fast standards) to get your second, but this ought not prohibit you from scoring another one on another Friday Sale, if you so wish! Lastly, I'm sure that Jo wants to be over and done with this list to contact folks for their payment and close out the preorder books.

Just do it ;)
 
Seems to me there are two considerations that point to the answer that I would give, IMHO. The first is the point Nathan has made about it all being a matter of your intentions. If the second is being purchased for resale at a profit, ie, flipping, what I read in Nathan's words were that it would be frowned upon. If for legitimate reasons, ie, use, collection, buying for someone you know who wanted one, that would be legit and no problem.

The second consideration, at least IMHO, you have already run through your head, whether it has some negative impact on another's ability to acquire. I skimmed through all the pre-order posts and found only one request for two knives and would think that another duplicates acquisition at this point in time would be fine, especially since the pre-orders have slowed significantly. I counted 32 so far. Hell, I would go for it. Everyone has already had their chance if they've been watching the CPK story.

Get in on it. Nathan said we could buy multiples if we want to for legitimate reasons, and the only reason people didn't is to spread the love out. Next week I will likely get another on the Friday, if I can be lucky enough to win again.

'Scissors, do it bud. I'm on the list for one, and I'm also going to try for one on a sale. I think it's fair at this point, and the list has been up for a good bit.

If I haven't said so, this forum has a good vibe, and a lot of good folks. I like it.
