The demand for our knives far exceeds Todd's ability to meet, especially with the military contract. We have been kicking around the idea of hiring a full or part time person to work in the shop. I was going to advertise in all the usual spots, but then wondered if there was any aspiring makers out there willing to apprentice for a period of time. Salary would be negotiable but could include living quarters next to the shop, help with your own designs and execution and learning various aspects of running your own business. The opportunity to hang with an amazing craftsman is TOTALLY FREE!! We are looking for commitments of at least a year, more would be fantastic. If your intrigued by the possibilities give us a call or email. Could be an amazing opportunity for you and a tremendous help to us in growing our company!!

Wow, what a great opportunity! I will have to talk to the wife and shoot you an email. If it doesn't work out for me, congratulations to whoever ends up getting in there and good luck in finding the right person.

Man, what a chance for someone! Hey Beggs, if I come out, can I bring the waterjet?

what a chance... if I wasnt' in college in texas, I'd be at your doorstep tomorrow...

Stupid RESPONSIBILITIES! Why won't the bank take my word that I'll be good for the mortgage later? Oh, wait, nevermind... :)

If there is some serious training by Mr. Begg, this is an opportunity that is very rare......and get paid for apprenticing with Todd..... This could be a fine opportunity.... Good Luck to All!

I am in the same boat, If I was graduated I would love that (about 7 months till I finish high school).

Holy smokes, I was sorry I missed Todd's knife machining workshops at Blade West. Now I am reeling with the anguish of not being able to take advantage of this AMAAAAAAZING opportunity! Wishing you all the best in finding just the right person. And, thanks for thinking of the knife making community by extending this inquiry. Regards, Phil

If you guys were just a little closer I would love to do a Thursday Friday since I always have them off with current job.

20 years and 2 wives ago, I would have been knocking on the door in the morning. Fantastic opportunity for someone interested in knives to gain alot of knowledge and assist the Beggs in their endevors. Good luck to all parties involved

Good Lord this is cool! I'm sorry I'm unable to take advantage of it though. hope ya find someone soon!

I'm not married and I'm originally from Washington born and raised, I'm from Cle Elum. I might be tempted as this would be a great opportunity. I do have a sweet Job and an even sweeter girlfriend here in Utah. If you would not mind sending me some details by email that would be great. Thanks

Don't you dare let me keep you from doing anything that would be this amazing for you. I don't want to be resented in the future for holding you back!:( This would be a dream opportunity for you and if you have the chance I will insist that you do it.:) Just remember, I am always right!;)
