Behind The Scenes @ Fiddleback Forge
Just a friendly reminder these knives are for Preview not Pre-sale.
This weeks BTS thread is going to be aimed at what has been going on around here this week and less focused on the knives.
First off Mondays glue-up and the products we use.
Here is what Andy wanted me to focus on. He is super excited to be building a table for the shop He hopes to have it done before the Guild meeting we are hosting this weekend.
Concept & build list
Unfortunately, I got the memo on day 2 of the build to get a bunch of pictures.
Im pretty sure this thing is not going to break.
Table top
Andy is cutting the slots for the biscuits
Pulling both pieces together from the bottom of the tabletop
Coincidence or not?
Just like shaping handles .not really. Andy is way better at shaping handles.
Rough It Up Abit
Liam, If you see this, Andy said the mini axe is insanely sharp
Oh, Hi Chris!
Ivy wanted a little Play time! before lunch. She goes insane over the measuring tape.
Sorry, It's hard to hold the camera, tape & get a good photo but you get the drift
Nap Time
Phase 1 of the finishing process
Allen will always take time to help the youngins
More to come as we progress on the table or I spot some cool knives
Thanks for looking!
