Happy Birthday Pertinux!
Well Happy Birthday! Here's hoping there's a nice blue Sylvrfalcen or something of the nature that you'd fancy. :encouragement:ositive:
ATTENTION!!......j/k, i'm not sure why this knife is poised for "take-off"

You've got my attention!
PS. How do you like the GST Hank? Been thinking about getting one.
Whats GST?
Those are Andy's but they seem ok
GST is God Speed Tactical. I assumed that was one of his hanks because he recently used that 'Carpe Noctem' material. I could be wrong though.
correct. No spalting? Is this pre heat treat? Also what's the middle knife?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
correct.
i was getting knives ready for heat treat & noticed there were a couple of the new models. No name yet, but I am calling them the "Neckmuk"
we will see if that sticks or not.
Who does the grinding on the blanks after they have been profiled, drilled and chamfered? Andy?
Also when do the tangs get tapered? Before or after heat treat?
Me and chris grind and taper prior to heat treat. I hand them off to Phil to clean up before he gives them back to me to do the heat treat.
Slight clarificationAllen and I grind all the blades prior to heat treat, I do all the tapers and Allen cleans up the tapers
more clarification
I clean up ALL the blades( tapered or not) before heat treat
can we get someone else in here to clear this up
hahahahahaahaha
