In the purchase requirements, it says “or” have a gold membership, is that accurate?

That is what Spark said in the first post. I haven't seen anything to the contrary.

Look to post # 30 - Spark answers that the requirements is an "or". OR, just look at the post above this one ^ ^ ^

I like the idea of “or” because it lets the newly interested people in the hobby get one and encourages forum membership to grow.

Just keeping up with the annual Blade Forum Knife thread from start to finish each year has been an education in most things traditional for me and certainly a who's who of the porch. I hope to keep up with the pace of this year's discussion for the silver anniversary knife and continue my education.

On hols in NZ right now but when I get home to land of Oz I will get to work on my submission for a label....although its always easier when theres lots of polling and arguing .

meako great stuff mate and enjoy that holiday, I sense that winter NZ is kind of rainy? As for argument and bickering, it's a bit in short supply yes but we can always work on the definition of the pattern might lead to small-mindedness, outrage and numerous 'ignores' possibly banning . All to keep up 'Tradition'

Like last year, you will need to be an active member of the Traditional forum to purchase these (25+ posts in this forum, member since before Jan 1, 2023) or have a Gold or higher membership.

It would be great if this could be bought internationally without any special connections. I haven't had any idea how to get one in previous years.

@A.L well you surely qualify re postings & activity. There will likely be a sign-up thread and I expect provision will be made for non US buyers, no need to worry.
