Behold, the 2023 BladeForums Traditional Forum Knife

Theres been a bit of a mix up...We dont get a Rolex watch ...its a Roll-A-Dex ..to keep your forum knives in alphabetical order...they will be delivered by Tortoise if you live on the CONUS ... All internationals by Turtle...those members will need to arrange a pick up point with their individual Turtle...preferably close to water...if inland this may include rivers ,creeks, drainage channels or sewers.

Good afternoon Kevin,

Here is what I have for the current Blade Forums knife, please let me
know if something is not correct.

It will be a Northfield 340223 Hump Back Congress with two polished
blades and dimpled bolsters.

It will have Antique Autumn Jigged bone handles with a crest shield.

Sue will do buttons and the front label, Jon Meakin will do the back label.

They will be serialized 000-599

Delivery will be in approximately 5 weeks.

With delivery being in 5 weeks, I should have pricing soon and will open up orders in the next 2-3 weeks (ideally).

Like last time, Gold & higher level paid members will have first crack at these. You need to meet the requirements for previously stated (joined prior to 1/2023, have 25+ posts in Traditional forum) as well, so you have time to get your money together and your affairs in order.

I've led such a sheltered life, I didn't know if that Turtle stuff was even real "international organization", or just something a high school classmate made up for fun. We did have official-looking membership cards, though; I wonder if I still have mine in some safe place (I'm sure it's been decades since I carried it in my wallet).

Nor did I have a diabetic ( sweet)donkey.

Doesn't seem fair that you didn't get a card, if you answered the initiation questions.
I think a lot of us are in your situation regarding the donkey.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll see if I can find an online presence for Turtles.

Mate you are going to love the label.... I can't believe it's been approved sight unseen.....Its like a blank cheque....this will be label #4 for me...I wonder if I should apply for the job.😁

I very much look forward to reading it - your contributions have been a singular highlight to otherwise contentious processes in years past. I'm thrilled that you get to continue to bear the torch.

Ditto! Good thing this thread has high entertainment value. I keep checking it everyday, not really expecting updates, but quite a bit of humor.
