My latest build, a little 84mm 3 layer with brass bolsters and liners. The wood in the scales are spalted apple.

At this point the bolsters are soft brushed and the wood are only sanded to 1000grit to make it look satin. Maybe I will polish the bolster? I do like how brushed brass develops a patina

My Dad's old Schrade LB7, back when they had serial numbers, after a quick Blitz wipedownView attachment 2293055

I'd saved this post off so I could respond and just kept not getting around to it! I enjoy the LB7 quite a bit. I wanted a lockback and liked Schrade. So, I picked one up. Mine is a 4pin with serial number 924522 which dates it around 1980. I feel like it fits better in the hand than my Buck 110!
