JonMcD Thank you What's interesting is that the top one with the machining on the collar is more or less the same as an Opinel so it's a locking collar too. The other with the Partridge stamp on the blade is a friction folder, these are large burly knives using whole antler pieces so there are no liners or spring, really a pack knife or one to be hung on the wall of a shed rather than pocketed.

The only true Camillus I own... I think.
From what I gather, a 1989 Era "Golden Buck" trapper.
If I'm not mistaken, the buck is actually gold plated.
You don't see these too often.

I haven’t seen the Kershaw before, but I’ve always admired the copper handled Lionsteel knives. Very slim and useful!

I know black mamba appreciates this knife. I’ve been hunting an unused example of a Craftsman 95066 off eBay with a goal of paying no more than $15 plus shipping. I had one that became my favorite weekend worker and gave it away. It’s taken over a year to track this one down.

It came like this:


…but it cleaned up like a champ. Never been used or sharpened.

That's a weekend warrior for sure!! I commend your criteria and patience for the purchase. Not easy!

Do we know if this one was made by Camillus or Schrade? Other?
