ok, drumroll, please...after double checking the numbers and list them in the randomizer, the winner is... #20, Ryan Thompson! Conga rats, sir, I will do my best to make a worthy knife for your son. I will call the New Jersey Steel Baron and check on my order, as it was placed a week ago and still shows as "processing", so I don't have the cpm 154 here yet, unless you want the knife in either 1084 or super blue.

Thanks again for hosting this and giving us all a chance.

Congrats Ryan. I am sure the knife will turn out Fantastic regardless of the alloy chosen.

Enjoy your Holidays everyone!

Wow!!! That just made my day! Thank you. As far as the steel - I like the CPM 154 because I have experience with it being a good quality stainless steel. I don't have any experience with the super blue. What I am looking for is a knife that can be used on whitetail deer and will be ok with not being cleaned until night. I am not really in a hurry for this, so I don't mind waiting for the steel, and feel free to take your time with it. I am really excited to see what you come up with!

Thanks again!

no problem, sir. Just called and my order should be here before the week is over, but I'm going home for the holidays and will be back by the 28. I will do some drawings and email you later. Thanks to all for participating!!

Congrats Ryan Thompson! What a fantastic knife for your son. I look forward to seeing what zuluninja whips up for you.

Thanks again zulu, for the opportunity.

Been on the back and forth with Mr. T, and man, am I excited! I just got confirmation that the steel should be here tomorrow. Thanks again to all that participated, and I really digged many of you suggestions. I will keep posting here as progress is made, or maybe make a new thread.

I remembered in the middle of the night last night that I never checked to see who won this GAW. Congratulations Ryan! And thanks zuluninja for a really generous give away!

The knife and sheath are finished. It will be on it's way to Ryan today, so I will abstain from posting pics until he has it and gives me a green light. Again, thanks to everybody that participated, this was a fun project to do!

Glad you like it, Ryan, please enjoy it as often as you can and also check the stuff we like in this corner, the mighty Beckers from Ka-Bar.

Specs:
- Loveless-style CPM 154 blade HT'd by Peter's to 61 RC with cryo quench
- Black & white G10 scales with buffalo horn bolsters
- Brass pins and tubes, all held together with G Flex epoxy
- Heavy duty Hermann Oak veg-tan leather sheath, hand stitched, tooled, oiled, sealed & waxed (Gabe is the name of Ryan's son, who will get the knife after Ryan is done playing with it :D)

It is not 100% perfect, has some tiny cosmetic flaws that Ryan didn't seem to mind, and won't affect the knife's performance. First time doing a Loveless, really enjoyed the process and might end up making one for myself!
