I just opened this bad boy up and wow!! I'm blown away, I've owned a 2 0350s , 0300,0301,0550,0551, and while they were all great knives this 0560 is in a league of its on. I read some bad things about the detent on this knife, this one in my hand is perfect flicks open effortlessly using the flipper, and I even flicked it open with the thumbstuds, It was a little harder to do with the thumbstuds, but I watched youtube videos of guys who couldn't do it so I was gonna try it.
This is the smoothest knife I myself have ever owned in my life, some people have talked about how smooth theirs are after a break in period, and I just can't see my 0560 getting any smoother at all. As far as the lock goes this one is perfect, once again read stories of sticky locks and such, well not on mine, I am amazed at the quality of this knife. It seems like the quality of Zero tolerance just keeps improving every knife I buy, To the Kershaw/zt Guys If you read my post, thank you for such an awesome knife, I see thomas on the forums all the time helping folks out, and I've had to deal with you guys customer service before and it was outstanding, You got a real winner here, this is no doubt one of the highest quality knives I've ever owned. I've never owned a 400.00+ knife that I saw the 0560 being compared to in another thread, but I can say this I don't see how a knife can get much better than this 0560 I just recieved. I just can't say enough positive about this knife, I'm in love!!

Oh yea, I need to add that I do know the 0560 was designed to be opened by the flipper and that the thumb studs are stop pins, I just saw some videos of guys saying their knives could not be opened by their thumbstuds, mine however can, you cant do a slow controlled open but you can flick it open like a rocket with the thumbstuds, just to clarify.
 
POIDH? Whats that mean? I only have one small complaint about the knife, and that;s the pocket clip retention, the knife slides in and out of yur pocket effortlessly and I like a little more retention, but that's nothing a pair of pliers and my torx drivers can't fix

I just received my 561 and have to say it is a lot of knife for the price. I have a 3" Hinderer and the 561 is just as smooth if not smoother then it for less then half the price. ZT has a real winner on its hands.
 
Check out house of blades, that's where I got this one, those guys are awesome shipped fast great service and the price wasn't marked up
 
Matt is very easy to work with and shipped fast with insurance. ordered on Thursday and had it Saturday. One question though, what is the difference between the 560 and 561? Is it just the difference of color or is there more? Thanks
 
I believe it's just the color, and yea I ordered on friday and my knife was in mailbox today, I gotta find another pocket clip for this knife, I wear work pants that are knd of slick so I need a pocket clip that's gonna have alot of retention so I don't lose the knife, I been working on the clip and it's just not gonna have enough retention to where I trust it not to fall out of my pants at work. This is not me complaining about zt I have jeans on now and the clip holds the knife fine, Its just in my case I'm gonna need a clip with more retention.
 
Mine is starting to break in and is so smooth right now. The quality of this knife is amazing!
I think the difference is just color and maybe there are fewer of the 561’s made. I’m not sure about that though.

Yeah morrow, they posted a thread saying they had 2 available and I think me and Woodysone got them because I called thursday as well and he only had one left, really are great guys to deal with, They told me a few weeks ago that their site was messed up to just call, because those prices are not right the 0560 and 561's were 260.00 shipped not 325.00
 
Just to add this as well, I saw a yutube video of CrimsonTideshooter using a piece of phonebook paper to close his Kershaw tilt, he got the blade passed the detent and just to show how smooth the knife was he pushed it closed with a piece of phonebook paper. Well I just got back from the post office, I just took the reciept they gave me and took the 0560 pushed it past the detent and closed the knife with the reciept, thats how smooth this knife is that a reciept can close it and the paper didn't fold back or anything.
 
Great acquisition there! I love my 0560 and it too is the smoothest knife I own, to be followed closely by my Tilt. The only thing I can think of that would be better than the 0560 would be a 0561 to go alongside it. :D
 
Just got my 0560 from House of Blades. Amazing. Agree with you 110%. Absolutely my favorite purchase recently bar none.
