Of course that I mind on tempered glass :) Both glass and ceramic are Germany made ... so , glass or ceramic ?

Hey , I m good student here , I learn what glass is good for this task:)Yes , it is borosilicate glass . But I don t found any comparasion that s way I ask .Pyrex or ceramic tile ? Which one is more durable and more safe for use ?

Well , obviously I will need to find answer by my self :) I cut ceramic tile in 50 x 180mm pieces and I buy 4mm x 50 x 180mm . Pyrex glass for 3$. Rubbing between finger piece of belt/back side of course/ on glass and ceramic and on HSS plate I have ........The feeling is that Ceramic tile surface have at least four time more friction then glass ? HSS also create much more friction then glass .So they will create much more heat ? But ceramic tile a deliberately designed not to slip ??? I wonder if it will improve over time ? I decide to make another plate for Pyrex and compare both at once ..........

I use High temp silicon to glue .Have notch on bottom side to hold ceramic tile .
