belt loop / neck knives

That slide and barrel looks to short for a Commander, too long for a Defender, Officers Model maybe?

The only reason I even saw the pistol comment to follow up on is because I always look at your knives when a new thread on one is started.
Nice work.

Thanks Dino, I'll have a new batch of these small neck/belt loop knives done soon with some new handle selections.

madcap... the only available...translucent green...your favorite!

Wooooo....

I think my ideal would be 6.5" overall, 3" blade, brushed, with that translucent green G10... overall design like the 02406 in the Gallery thread... if you make it and the price stays around the same, I will take it NLT two weeks.

madcap, don't have one cut out to those specs but will have one about 8 or a smidge shorter overall, 3 1/2" - 3 3/4" blade and I will just put some G11 on it and try my hand at a satin finish and see what we get. Leather or Kydex?

Hey Jim, I have been having computer headaches. I hope you still have the blade that we discussed last week. I will send a e-mail with my temp addy to help complete this Thanks Martin

My issue is that I'm restricted to a 3" blade limit for legal purposes of carry. I can have >3" blades, but can't EDC them, I have to have them for a specific purpose. I haven't seen your leather sheaths, so I don't know, but I like thin kydex sheaths a lot.

madcap, I'll keep all those specs in mind as I build more. By the way what is blade length...from the choil notch to tip....front of handle to tip....cutting edge? I've always wondered what the answer to that question was.
Thanks,
Jim

Blade length isn't defined, so I usually take a direct line from where the choil ends to where the tip ends- not along the edge itself, just a straight line from tip back to the point where there's no more cutting edge. That standard probably won't work if I had a karambit or something, but for most knives...
