The blade looks very much like a smaller 730 Ares.
You have excellent taste... except in energy drinks
I like everything about it except for that indent along the front of the handle.
That indent is for the thumb stud. Without it, the knife wouldn't close.
Very nice.
$170 street price.
Gray G-10 handle.
M390 blade that's 2.96" long and 0.10" thick.
Weighs just 2.18 ounces.
I'm at least committed to fondling...and (pleasantly) surprised that the price isn't higher.
I have seen that pairing in another BM thread elsewhere...![]()
The problem for me is handle comfort. I really need about a 4" handle to get a secure, comfortable grip on a folder. As much as I like the 485 . . . and I really DO like it . . . it's just a little too short at 3.73" closed. (For comparative purposes, the Sequel 707 is 3.80" closed. And I refuse to tolerate anything shorter than my Sequel.)Very nice.
