Up for trade is a Benchmade 531 with black Rit dyed scales. Bought it this way from the forum, thought I'd carry it more but I've not. The black scales absolutely make this knife look awesome, my opinion is that they should have come black from the factory instead of that weird skunky grey. This one is a first production run.
Knife is a little off center but doesn't rub. Locks up good. Maybe a little stick to the axis lock, but that's probably because I haven't taken it apart and lubed it up. Really nice knife.
Not sure what I'm looking for, but a couple that come to mind are: anything ZT (350, 770, etc.), most Benchmades (throw em out there), Boker Kwaiken, maybe a Spyderco? I am in the mood for something with Carbon Fiber scales, but that's not a requirement. Worst I can say is no, and I typically say that politely [emoji3]. Cash can potentially go either way for the right trade.
