Yeah, it looks rather nice. It got some flak on facebook though... That price point is ridiculous. It looks and im sure is a great knife, but whats the deal? limited issue yeah, but wow. the caliber does not match the $$$. Not to say I wouldnt like one,

Also, in a related note, Benchmade Mod, there are about 32 pages of people that would like a few answers. They are not schmucks off the street, they are brand loyal guys, that have a lot of money tied up in your company. Some deeply in the thousands in fact. Try as least giving that a half a$$ed stab, before you so graciously try to hawk us a $700 barrage, or really anything else for that matter. Just a thought. I would love to know your thoughts.
 
I'd pay up to $400 ($350 more likely). Take a stock 586BK (up to $200 now) and have a similar scale custom made ($200).

This is sad to me to see price increases exclude loyal supporters.

That knife is really cool though.
 
I would pay $330 for that knife. It's very nice looking. That doesn't justify the ridiculous MSRP Benchmade has it listed at.
 
I find it ironic that what the OP (BF member Benchmade) posted here is MOSTLY what I received through an email direct from Benchmade early this afternoon: New Product Announcement ~ 586-141.

What was conspicuously missing from the OP's post was the telling MSRP!
 
I wish BM would DLC coat more knives.I am guessing that's what justifies the MSRP?Nice knife, but I would be divorced pronto if I spent $700 on a knife.I will wait for a working class knife at a working class price point.
