benchmade aileron....tire thread...

The last thing a C.I.A. agent or anyone in that field needs to worry about is a knife; it reminds me of the hype of the east german secret police auto that was marketed by adams international years ago ;turned out to be nothing more than a maniago barry wood looking auto made in Italy.with an e german logo on it(used they say for interrogation and backup or some other crap according to the literature) Keep the comedy coming I can use the laughs....

Aside from the weird traction etching thing and serrations, the knife looks good. I was hoping to see some car doors or pig carcasses getting stabbed in the video. That’s going to be a big deal breaker for me

Alright that looks kinda neat

Wouldn't the traction treads hinder slicing in general? I mean, let's be real here. Most people are gonna use this for every day purposes, not self defense.

That's another Benchmade I won't get. This 2 hands opening stuff is like going backwards in terms of evolution to me. Won't swap that for any of my EKI...

Edit: after watching the video... This 2 hands thingie work with about all my knives, except my doukdouk.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here but you don't need laser etchings to open many knives one handed without the deployment hole, thumb stud, etc. I sometimes open many of my Spyderco knives this way just for fun.

yea i agree.

No running here. Not now or in the future. Had open heart surgery October, 2017, and while I ran for up to 5 minutes in post op recovery class, I run too slow to out run anyone, so I'll give 110% to take out an attacker.

The way I figure, the attacker has abt as much a chance of surviving me as a 300lb buck with 16 points on open day. NONE.

It's good and ok to be different. Different strokes for different folks.

It is apparent from your comment that you do not understand the concept here. I am not talking about opening a knife with one hand.
I’m talking about flicking the blade open using your ring, middle or index finger only.
No arm waving, no lock abuse.
Flick!
