Any thoughts on the new Benchmade Bone Collector? Looks very similar to a grip and mini-grip, but with G10 and D2.

Dang, it's about time! Are they doing one with a thumb-stud also?

I dont see how I by passed this model when I was looking at there new releases for 2010, I guess I got to tied up with the 755 and 741 and that new Benchmade AXE, but I have been in the market for a Benchmade Grip but after seeing this blade I may have to hold out for one of these, I def like the idea of a D2 Grip with G10 handles....

Just saw these too.

Finally a grip without the cheap feeling handles!

These seem right up Cabela's ally wonder if they'll eventually do a run.

I would like to buy the mini and change the blade from my ritter M4 . I hope it will work I like the G-10 . G-10 and the ritter M4 blade would be very nice.

Oh i missed this one too, I like it, wonder if the handles will work on my M4 Ritter...

looks like griptilian variant number 379 if you ask me. never seen a company release so many different models of the same knife. I guess when you run out of blade shapes, you change the name and start all over again. don't get me wrong, I do like benchmade, but man am I ever sick of seeing griptilians

Unfortunately, the knife isn't a production model. A couple of years ago a member posted the pic here and everyone was curious who customized the knife - unfortunately they never revealed who did the handles.

I know who did scales on this one. MarcinS aka Marcin Slysz - knifemaker from Poland.

I think it looks like the ultralight , or the presidio. just different , grooves in the handle.

I don't like that huge BONE COLLECTOR on the blade, myself. Looks like something a cheap knife would have.

I'm happy to see BM producing so many intersting knives 2010. I would definitely buy one of these along with the MPR.

which knife are we talking about the g-10 color calab, or the black redux.

The Bone Collector looks great. I love the spear point, and the blade looks like it will be flat-ground.
I hope they bring out a thumb stud variant.
