I emailed Benchmade a couple of weeks ago, after snagging the pocket clip from my Kodiac folder on something and bending it too far out to reuse. All I did was email them and ask them to send me another clip and about 4 days later, I get a box with a new clip and screws. No charge. I thought it was pretty nice of them.

I called them a while back for some new screws for a Benchmade. Sent them to me free of charge. NICE...

I agree,I've experienced Great Customer service recently.I just received a replacement torx screw for my BM-42 the other day, pretty fast service.I also felt that the Warranty/repair were very pleasant to communicate with.I just sent Benchmade my other Bm-42 for warranty work, there is an imperfection in one of Ti handles, seems when they drilled one of the handle holes the Ti casting must have had an air pocket or something and a small piece of Ti broke away on the inside where the blade lays in the channel.I'm sure it wouldn't affect the handles strength, but to me it is an eyesore, and I'm a perfectionist

: I hope to have the same great experience with their Customer service.Chow,Ralph S.

They sorted out my AFCK when I had problems with it. They banned me from the Forum for telling someone about the trouble I had with my AFCK...

Strange, I did thank them publicly for fixing it...

Gen, BM Customer Service does good job. I have noticed many folks on the forums (here, there, and everywhere)seem to think everything should be 100%. Life is not that way, $500 customs even have flaws. I see forumites (again, here, there, and everywhere) crucify a seller, buyer or dealer because there was a cloud in the sky. Not sure why this is....I remember reading you posts on BM's forum, and as a BM Auth.Dealer did not think you were anywhere close to out of bounds---just stating the facts. I suspect BM felt since this was their forum, "you cant call me a dud in my back yard". Not sure how you took the "banning" you refered to, but if you wanted back in I suspect travis would make it happen. Somewhere -- sometime, understanding and acceptance that I am truly the only PERFECT ONE (not)will make this a better place JMO,,,,ICBW md
