about all that comes to mind. called in, they set me up with a number. shipped it to them. i'd broken the tip off, figured i'd have to pay their $25 replacement fee. nope. they didn't ask why it broke, just replaced it. it came back with the old blade [limited edition so i'm glad they sent it back] packaged and the one on it was far sharper than the one that originally came on it. when i bought the knife the bevels were un even and while sharp, it was less than ideal. i sent it to member of this forum for repair, and i gotta say the one benchmade sent is perfect. not even richardj did a better job [no offense but this is impressive]. bevels are flawless and she pops hair right out of the box. they went ahead and replaced the nicked up pocket clip too.

i will be buying more benchmades. that is for certain
 
it does not. its the same steel, but doesn't have the limited edition text. which is why i'm glad they sent the original blade back with it. kinda sucks, but at the same time the new blade is so awesome i don't care all that much.

very happy with benchmade, and i have a flat ground d2 bali that i have my eye on...
 
I abused my BM Aphid until I broke the spring. I called BM and asked for a new spring. BM said they couldn't send a new spring but instead would send a new knife. The new knife was much sharper than the original as well.
