Benchmade dropped the ball

Who cares what it's called?

In the past few weeks, at the gym I have had in my pocket the following:
-Medford Marauder
-Emerson Super Commander
-Medford Deployment 187 DPT
-Spyderco Fluted Titanium Military
And of course, the Emerson Karambit in the left pocket (it's always there).

I wasn't planning on marauding, commanding, deploying with the military, or any other thing those knife names might make people think of...I was just there to lift weights.

Hmmm...maybe I need the new Benchmade Buy This Knife And You'll Be Able To Lift Heavier Weights And Your Shoulder Will Heal Quicker, or BTKAYBATLHWAYSWHQ for short.

Just rolls off the tonque. :D

No doubt BM market researched and found an opening for a lightweight outdoorsy folder, designed and prototyped it, focus grouped it and the name...that's what any business does. "Bugout" was undoubtedly well thought out.

That said, I do wonder if there is a niche for a knife for the active sportsperson. Maybe some make has already mader something like that.

Anybody?

Personally I think all football players should carry jagdkommandos while on the field. Would improve ratings!
