Benchmade Fakes, knock-offs, counterfeits thread...

Well it's not always exactly the same, .05 Oz is a very small amount.

Is this 67 real? The markings don't seem to be in the same place as any other 6x I can find. (however 51s have similar marking but I couldn't find any other 6x with marking like that)
(I believe the shoulders were ground off or "de-horned" so I just want to know about markings)

Well, i’m new to benchmade and buying nice knives in general but I took a chance a bought 2 at the estate sale. Can anyone tell me if they are legit? And if so, what are they? hoping I didn’t over pay.

I found the link in this thread to old catalogs and went through them. These appear to me to be a 9000 and a 9050. Under close inspection, They look and feel to me like they are high quality. To my untrained eye, they appear legit. Are there any telltale marks I can check for?

You know what, I think you're right; a couple of the hallmarks of the AFO series look like they're absent on the early model 9000.
