Benchmade griptilian, hole or stud?

I have both the 556 and 555HG and prefer the thumhole. But, I will mention that the blade shape is different between the two knives. It's just personal preference.
 
A flick of my thumb opens it right up so the thumb stud works for me on this model. I do prefer the hole on my other folders though.
 
i like the hole for opening but i prefer the look of the blade with the thumbstud. i bought one over 8 years ago with the hole.
